I'm Milou van Sommeren — though most people just call me Lou. I'm most at ease in creative spaces that invite daring choices and offer a sense of trust — and that's the kind of space I aim to help build. I’ve built a creative career across disciplines, not by chance, but by working hard and staying curious. Along the way, I’ve developed a keen eye for detail, a knack for creative and original solution-finding, and a genuine love for connecting with people.

 

My drive? Creating space. For bold storytelling, for honest expression, and for working environments where everyone — actors, directors, crew — feels seen and respected. I believe boundaries and bravery can go hand in hand, and I work to make that not just possible, but natural.

 

Whether I’m coordinating intimate scenes or shaping voice-over narratives, I bring a presence that’s clear-headed, approachable, and unapologetically human. I like to check in, listen closely, and hold space for whatever needs to unfold.

Outside of work, you’ll probably find me in nature with a (borrowed) dog, dodging voice memos (who even likes those?) and somehow always crossing paths with the Polaroid guy and his roses.
